eduroam Wireless Network Configuration
The UI Wireless service is part of eduroam, a worldwide consortium of colleges and universities that provide wireless internet access across research and education networks. Click here for a brief list of eduroam frequently asked questions.
IMPORTANT: eduroam is a secure network that requires you to log in with your University of Iowa credentials. eduroam requires a username in the form of firstname.lastname@example.org.
Use your HawkID followed by @uiowa.edu and your HawkID passphrase to log in.
If you are visiting from another eduroam institution, you should have configured eduroam access on your home campus to connect to eduroam here. If you have done so, connect directly to the eduroam network and log in with your institution's credentials.
Mobile device users: Connect directly to the eduroam network on your device and enter your username (email@example.com) and passphrase to connect to eduroam.
Laptop users: Use this link to begin the auto-configuration process - Configure my device to access the eduroam network
